Outfitted with the most modern medical equipment, The flying Hospital is an inpatient and outpatient surgical facility dedicated to addressing the unmet medical needs of populations around the world. The L-1011 jet aircraft is operated by The Flying Hospital, Inc., a 501(c) (3) charitable humanitarian organization based in Los Angeles, California USA.

The Flying Hospital is a tool that can be used by non-profit organizations, corporations, governmental agencies and other groups wishing to sponsor compassionate medical missions throughout the world. The aircraft offers a fully mobile platform for providing medical, dental inpatient and outpatient surgical services, as well as education and training to local healthcare professionals.
