When these inhibitors were gradually neutralized, the moral decline accelerated. Many young people have been transformed by neglect into psychological, moral, and spiritual illiterates. Rap dancers from the back sides of big cities determine the clothes and hair styles of youth. Professional basketball stars establish how many rings can appear in one's nose, eyebrows, lips, tongue, and unmentionable places on one's body along with how many grotesque tattoes can be etched anywhere on the skin.

Gospel Partner Sponsorship, Inc. is a subdivision of Christian Pilots Asociation, Inc., and also a "religious non-profit IRS 501(c)(3)" corporation with the primary purpose of strengthening churches by supporting part-time pastors so they can give full-time service with emphasis on the youth.

The vast majority of churches in rural America have part-time pastors with congregations of less than 100 in attendance. Youth programs, if they exist, are limited in scope. Adults are the primary givers and get first choice of the pastor's time. When youth get anything by way of moral and spiritual Bible instruction, it is considered adequate, wrapped in programs that may amount to little more then "fun-and-games".

The momentum of this insanity shows no signs of diminishing. It may be the final nail in the coffin of our beloved country unless Christian believers respond to the challenge.

Please, consider this unique enlistment program a serious effort designed to move part-time pastors into full-time men of God emblazoned for Christ and youth when we provide adequate financial, material, and volunteer support from sources outside their congregations.

Moral Decline of youth

News reporters, politicians, and radio talk-show hosts search for causes and answers to the moral decline of our youth in this generation. How can so many people with so much knowledge actually seem so naive, or are they just so fearful to break away from what is considered the  "politically correct" way of thinking to say what, deep in their hearts, and minds, they know is true.

Centuries ago, the prophet Jeremiah, reported the flaw in human nature when he wrote, "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked, who can know it?" The Apostle Paul in the New Testament wrote, "Do not be misled, you can't ignore God and get away with it, for whatever a man sews, this he will also reap". Augustine said (paraphrase), Man is restless until he finds his rest in God.

When you remove God out of the life of a man, you end up with a man that won't behave like one.

Our Strategy

GPS wishes to enlist thousands of sponsors who will contribute a dollar per day toward full-time support of pastoral candidates currently able only to minister part-time in their churches or those that will be planted through our volunteers. We select qualified pastors by a national survey. As they enlist, we serve as the conduit to administrate the program. There will be no charge to pastors. Sponsors will receive a picture of the pastor and family, biographical data, and periodical performance reports.

Funds received by GPS for pastors are  placed in a trust until pastoral candidates are assigned. Sponsors who wish to cancel their "Faith Promise" are urged to consider it a long-term commitment. A list of qualified candidates will be sent to potential sponsors on request.

Christian Pilots Association was in transition for several years as major social, political, and theological changes formed the attitudes and thinking of people, particularly youth. The symptoms of moral and spiritual decay were hardly noticeable at first but then swung into view between major wars and post-war recovery in the expressions of new freedom, leisure time, discretionary money, and radical life-styles. The removal of the Berlin Wall became an icon of new awakenings in the world that ushered in a new license to think, feel, and act in ways that were surpressed before by political and religious restraints. A moral and spiritual vacumn was produced similar to Japan after it's surrender. General Douglas MacArthur called the church to send missionaries but that call fell on deaf ears. Will it happen again?
